Position Brief
- This position will oversee a team, including a File Coordinator, Superintendent, Estimator, In House Construction Team and a pool of Subcontractors
- Will be responsible to oversee up to $2.5M in residential and commercial construction project revenue annually
- Will manage all construction projects resulting from previous fire, water or mold damage mitigation work. Our work is restorative reconstruction, working closely with the insurance industry
- Oversee and manage all construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders including clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal support team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including selection, negotiation of contracts, and oversight of performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Review regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or deviations from plans.
- Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may impact project success, implementing appropriate solutions.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, for record-keeping and audit purposes.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management principles.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and building codes relevant to construction projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient use of Xactimate™, Symbility™, or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Must have good driving record.
